Prompt & Reference Libraries

Seam has two ways to save and reuse work: a local Prompt Library for your own presets, and online Reference Libraries for shared images.

Prompt Library (local)

• Open the library with the library button in the panel.
• "Save" stores the current prompt together with all current settings (model, seed, aspect ratio, and the rest) as a preset.
• Presets can be tagged, marked as favorites, edited, copied, and deleted.
• Applying a preset restores the prompt and the settings.
• The library is stored locally on your computer.

Reference Libraries (online)

Reference libraries are collections of images that you manage in the web dashboard, for example brand assets or style references. They are available on the Studio and Lifetime plans.

• Select a library in the plugin. Its images load as reference images for your generation.
• Library images are managed in the dashboard, not in the plugin. Switching to another library replaces them.
• A library can also hold text notes, for example brand or style guidelines.

Library context (text notes)

The "Library context" setting controls how the text notes of the selected library are used:

• Off: Notes are not used.
• Enhance (default): Notes flow into prompt enhancement.
• Enhance and generate: Notes additionally flow into the generation itself.
