Devices: After signing in you name this computer, so your devices are easy to tell apart in the dashboard. You can rename it any time in Settings.

Devices: Reinstalling the plugin or updating Photoshop keeps this computer on its existing seat instead of taking up a second one.

Devices: A seat is only used once you have named the computer, so unnamed entries no longer appear in your dashboard.

Devices: The rename dialog shows this computer's ID, so you can tell which dashboard entry belongs to it.

Devices: Signing in tells you right away when all seats are in use, instead of failing later on your first generation.

Devices: Names with accents, apostrophes and other special characters now save correctly.

Fix: The model settings no longer shift around a moment after the panel opens.

Upscale: An image that is too large to upscale now says so and tells you what to change, instead of showing a generic server error.

Fix: Picking a category heading in the aspect ratio menu now selects that category's first ratio instead of sticking on the label.

Fix: Switching to the backup provider now works in Create without a reference image.

Improvement: The plugin download is about half the size, so it installs and starts faster.

Fix: Finished images retry their download automatically instead of failing on a network hiccup.

Fix: Switching documents right after Generate no longer cancels the generation or breaks selection restore.

Improvement: The My models picker only shows LoRAs that work with the selected model.

Improvement: Clearer messages when the image service is unavailable.

Layers: Result layers are named after the source layer and place correctly, even if you select another layer or delete the source while a generation runs.

Layers: Placing a result keeps your source layer visible and leaves masks and selections untouched.

Selections: Selection-based edits keep the exact pixel bounds, stay pinned to the chosen layer, and respect each model's size limits.

Remove Background: Each run produces a single clean result, and Apply as Mask applies the cutout directly to the selected layer.

Upscale: Better defaults per model, including 4K output for Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro.

Errors: Clear plain-English messages when an AI provider hits a credit or billing limit, instead of raw API text.

Defaults: New installations start with the recommended settings, and LoRA models start each session with None selected.

Updates: Seam Account now includes an always-available Check updates button.

Tabs: Edit is now the default tab, and the order is Edit, Create, Upscale.

Create: The Sample All Layers toggle is hidden because Create samples reference images only.

Models: Reve-2 now supports 5:4 and 4:5 aspect ratios and accepts up to 8 reference uploads.

Create: Now text-to-image only. Uploads act as reference images, never as edit targets.

Create: A canvas selection sets aspect ratio, placement, and resolution instead of triggering an edit.

Edit: All edit models (Flux Kontext, Flux Edit, Seedream Edit) now live on the Edit tab, so Create and Edit stay clearly separated.
