Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to keep your login and checkout secure, and, if you allow it, to understand how the site is used. This page lists what is used and how you can change your choice.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so you do not have to re-enter them whenever you come back or move from one page to another. Alongside cookies we also use your browser's localStorage, which works in a similar way and is covered by the same rules.

2. What we use

• Strictly necessary: required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. This covers your login session, security, and checkout. Without these, signing in or paying is not possible. Your cookie choice itself is also stored this way, in localStorage, so that we can remember it and do not have to ask you again on every page.
• Functionality and preferences: remember settings you make yourself, in particular whether you prefer the light or dark theme. These are stored in your browser's localStorage and are never sent to us.
• Analytics (Google Analytics 4), consent required: only if you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies (for example _ga and _ga_*, stored for up to 14 months) to tell visitors apart and measure traffic. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded at all, and any of its cookies still present are deleted.
• Marketing measurement, consent required: this switch controls whether Google Analytics may additionally use advertising storage and advertising identifiers to attribute visits to campaigns. We currently run no advertising campaigns and embed no third-party advertising tools, so with this switch off nothing additional is loaded. It is set to off by default.
• Checkout (Lemon Squeezy): our checkout is operated by Lemon Squeezy, which sets its own cookies to manage the cart and process the payment securely. These appear when you start a purchase.

3. Measurement without cookies

We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure loading times. Neither sets a cookie, and neither stores or reads anything on your device, so they are not covered by the cookie banner and run on the basis of our legitimate interest. You can read more about this in section 2 of our Privacy Policy.

4. Managing your consent

When you first visit our website you can choose your preferences in the cookie banner. You can accept everything, decline all non-essential cookies, or set each category individually. Nothing that requires consent is loaded before you have made that choice.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the Cookie Settings link in the footer of this website. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and for the future.
